Get involved with the University of Iowa Phi Beta Kappa chapter
The Alpha of Iowa chapter at the University of Iowa welcomes participation of faculty and staff who are members of Phi Beta Kappa. In fall 2025, the chapter will celebrate the 130th anniversary of its founding, and we would love for members on campus to get involved and help the chapter continue to thrive. With a network of 290+ chapters nationwide, Phi Beta Kappa faculty and staff members lead chapters and oversee student selection and induction, conferring lifelong membership in the Society. Please contact me or email phi-beta-kappa@uiowa.edu regarding your interest or for more information. Officer positions are available for 2025-2026. Visit the Phi Beta Kappa chapter website for more information about the chapter.
