The Marketing and Communication team promotes CLAS and its many programs as the thriving academic heart of the University of Iowa.
We use best practices in communications and marketing to build awareness and understanding, attract students and faculty, and engage our alumni.
Our responsibilities include:
Managing the college's web presence and social media
News and storytelling
Administrative and internal communications
Recruitment marketing
Creative services
Digital strategy (web, email marketing, and advertising)
Alumni relations
In this mission, we work closely with CLAS administration units and departments, as well as campus partners like the Office of Strategic Communication, Admissions, and the Center for Advancement.
We also support communication and marketing activities across the college by sharing resources and best practices that make it easier for departmental users to create effective and on-brand communications for their programs.
