Please note that the Office of the Provost has compiled a list of resources related to academic freedom that faculty might find useful as we start the new academic year. 

In August 2025, there were some modifications to the Iowa Board of Regents Board Policy Manual (Chapter 3, Academic Policies and Procedures, Section 3.10 and Section 3.20 have now been updated).
