UI Advise is calling for nominations for the University of Iowa’s Pat Folsom Excellence in Academic Advising Award!

All professional academic advisors at the University of Iowa are eligible for nomination.

An academic advisor’s primary responsibility is to provide meaningful support as students navigate college experiences.

Excellent Academic Advisors:
• Guide students toward success, however the student defines it. 
• Are passionate about helping students.
• Work together with students, colleagues and departments across campus to improve support for Hawkeyes.
• Keep learning as part of their commitment to the advising profession.
