Effective July 1, 2026, Jennifer Bertrand, director of academic policies and student services in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, has assumed responsibility for coordinating the Bachelor of Arts in Interdepartmental Studies. The Interdepartmental Studies major provides students with an interdisciplinary pathway through pre-approved tracks of study in Applied Human Services, Business Studies, and Health Science.
As coordinator, Jennifer will serve as the primary point of contact for matters related to the Interdepartmental Studies major and will work closely with collegiate and campus partners to support students and program operations. Over the coming months, she will be reaching out to relevant offices and stakeholders regarding program communications, student exceptions, and other administrative and academic matters associated with the program.
