RE: October 1 deadline for curricular change intake forms
As a reminder, CLAS Undergraduate Programs is now enforcing an October 1 deadline for departments to propose undergraduate curricular or structural changes for the following academic year. To support and standardize this process, CLAS UP has also created a short intake form. The completion of this form will begin the proposal process for undergraduate curricular and structural changes, and it is this step that must be completed by October 1 for the change to be considered for implementation in fall 2027.
The intake form can be found on the CLAS Resource site, on the page labeled “Modifying the Undergraduate Curriculum,” along with information about the overall curricular change process and which types of changes need to follow this process. A proposal template is also available for changes that need to be submitted to the Undergraduate Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee (UEPCC). Note: a proposal is not required at the time of completing the intake form.
Please contact Liz Lundberg with any questions about the undergraduate curricular change process, deadline, or intake form.
