Please review two policy updates on the CLAS Resource site approved by the Undergraduate Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee (UEPCC) in spring 2026:

1. The page on Midterm and Final Examinations has been revised to update and clarify how finals week and the last week of classes may be used, in terms of types of assignments and student workload in those weeks.
2. A page has been added providing some best practices for situations when a course requires students to attend a scheduled event that falls outside class time and students have schedule conflicts.
