The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to continue the Summer Funding for Humanities Research initiative, which supports faculty pursuing humanities research projects that require dedicated time, resources, and support during the summer months.
Applications for research to be completed during summer 2027 will be accepted Nov. 2–20, 2026.
Eligible tenure-track faculty may request up to $7,500 to support research expenses such as materials, equipment, travel, and dedicated writing space. Review the Summer Funding for Humanities Research policy and program information for complete eligibility, application, and funding requirements.
Applications must be submitted by Nov. 20, 2026. Award decisions are planned for early December.
