Many people ask me if the college has any funds to support the costs of publishing articles as open access in journals. Given the size of the college, we are not able to do so. However, the UI Libraries has agreements with many major journal publishers, including Springer-Nature, Wiley, Cambridge University Press, American Chemical Society, IEEE, and many others. The UI Libraries has the full list of Open Access Agreements. 

The deal with Springer-Nature was recently announced in a blog post. 

Before choosing a target journal for publishing your work, please have a look at the options already available to you to publish open access without additional fees, or with reduced fees.
