The spring application period is now open for the Industry Professionals in the Arts and Humanities initiative, a program designed to enrich student learning through direct engagement with professionals working in the arts and humanities.
This initiative provides funding awards of up to $10,000 to CLAS tenure-track and instructional-track faculty to invite industry professionals to campus for workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship sessions. Unlike traditional lecture series, this program emphasizes hands-on, sustained interactions that connect students with real-world expertise and foster meaningful professional development.
Eligibility: Open to CLAS tenure-track and instructional-track faculty
Application Period: Feb. 1 - Mar. 13, 2026
Application Process: Complete the application and submit to the CLAS Dean's Office
Post-Award Reporting: Faculty will be asked to share student feedback and learning outcomes
Whether you’re planning a one-time workshop or a semester-long mentorship experience, we encourage you to apply and help bring the professional world into the classroom. For more information, visit the Industry Professionals in the Arts and Humanities Policy Page or reach out to the CLAS Dean’s Office. Let’s continue to build bridges between academia and industry—one student experience at a time.
