Faculty Requests To Change Appointment – due October 1, 2026

The college has established procedures under which faculty may ask to move all or part of their budgeted appointment to a different department of appointment, or for jointly appointed faculty to alter the percentage appointment in each department. The college considers such movements of appointment to be a reallocation of faculty lines. The deadline for such requests from faculty is October 1 each year. Review the policy on requests to change appointment for more information.

The college is also announcing a process for instructional track faculty to request a change in title from assistant/associate/full professor of instruction to assistant/associate/full professor of practice at the same rank, or from assistant/associate/full professor of practice to assistant/associate/full professor of instruction at the same rank.
