After many years supporting research across multiple disciplines, Erika joined the GSO team in September 2026. Her previous roles include research assistant in Psychiatry, clinical trials regulatory coordinator in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, and research administrator in Radiation Oncology.

Outside of work, Erika enjoys playing cello with the Iowa City Community String Orchestra, teaching yoga at North Dodge Athletic Club, supporting local performing arts and community events, and traveling with her husband on scuba diving adventures.
