CLAS Staff are invited to attend the November CLAS Staff Council meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 10:30am at the Big Ten Theatre in the IMU. Dr. Liz Tovar, the Executive Officer and Associate Vice President of the Division of Access, Opportunity, and Diversity will be talking to CLAS Staff about Senate File 2435 which established restrictions to DEI efforts at public universities. Dr. Tovar will talk about its effects on the University of Iowa, and the positive approach the University is taking to meet the requirements of the new law.
