Promotion and Tenure Process Workshop

Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
DEO, Administrators, Committee Chairs and involved staff are required to attend.

This workshop will review the requirements and process for P&T: discuss forms, conflict of interest, external reviewers, letters, timeline and deadlines, criteria for rank, CCG, joint appointments, absent faculty, confidentiality, tenure clock, extensions, problems and solutions.

Newly Tenured Workshop

Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Newly tenured faculty are encouraged to attend.

This workshop will cover responsibilities of tenured faculty, mentoring, scholarship and research, and working toward promotion to full professor.

Newly Promoted to Associate Professor of Instruction Workshop

Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Faculty newly promoted to Associate Professor of Instruction are encouraged to attend.

This workshop will cover the challenges, opportunities, leadership, mentoring, and teaching, and working toward promotion to Professor of Instruction.

Faculty Review Workshop

Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
DEOs and Administrators are required to attend.

This workshop will cover FRAP, the types of reviews, classroom observation requirements, problems, and solutions.

Preparing for Promotion to Full Professor Workshop (Tenure Track and Clinical Track)

This workshop will cover criteria for promotion to full professor and what it means; how to put your portfolio together correctly; COI and letters of recommendation; other helpful advice.
