Responsibilities of faculty member under review
Submit the following materials to department prior to review:
Updated CV (in CLAS Standard CV format)
SPOT teaching evaluations from the previous calendar year
- Brief outline (no more than one page) of activities and accomplishments during the previous calendar year. (In departments that use a three-year outline of activities as part of the annual review process, faculty members may submit outlines of up to three pages.)
- Most recent annual review, as well as any plan that resulted from the previous review
Read and respond, if applicable, to review
Acknowledge review in workflow
Responsibilities of the DEO
- Inform the faculty member under review of the timeline of the review and the materials they must submit
- Form advisory committee, if applicable
- Using the required CLAS form, assess the faculty member's recent record using the Collegiate Standards for Tenured Faculty Review and the departmental standards for tenured faculty review approved by the college and the Provost
- Ensure department meets the deadline for review submission
Joint appointment handling (if applicable)
Faculty member’s MOU should define review procedures
In the absence of an MOU, each department will submit an annual review
Materials required to be submitted to the Dean’s Office
Submit all materials in FRAP as PDFs.
- Completed review form
- The faculty member's response (if any)
- Updated CV
