Q&A with Carolyn to follow

The screening will take place on Monday, May 11, and will be followed by a live Q&A with Carolyn Lukensmeyer. Space is limited, and advanced registration is encouraged.

In 1995, Lukensmeyer founded AmericaSpeaks, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening democracy by giving everyday citizens a meaningful voice in public decision making. Among its most notable efforts was the 21st Century Town Meeting that brought 5,000 New Yorkers together to deliberate on plans for rebuilding Ground Zero after Sept. 11.

9/11: Reclaiming Ground Zero tells the story of that historic gathering and examines its lasting impact on what exists today at one of the most significant sites in American history.

This special evening offers a rare opportunity to engage with an influential leader whose work has shaped civic participation and public dialogue nationwide. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful conversation.
