The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will be allocating funds for instructional equipment this fiscal year. Instructional equipment includes the purchase, replacement, maintenance, or repair of any equipment that is necessary for the teaching of courses. Requests should not include computer/technology equipment, which might be funded through student technology fee allocations.
Please submit requests using the Instructional Equipment Proposal form provided. For departments with significant instructional equipment needs, please include a 3-5 year plan for the purchase, replacement, maintenance, or repair of equipment that is expected over the time period.
Requests should be submitted by the DEO or ALT through the CLAS File Cabinet website. Please submit separate proposals for instructional equipment requests (using the form provided); if there are multiple requests from a department, the DEO must submit a separate cover letter indicating the priority of each request.
