The Interdisciplinary Consortium for the Study of War and Genocide formed in Fall 2024 to bring together researchers from diverse academic disciplines to advance our understanding of the psychological, cultural, historical, legal, and political dimensions of war and ethnic conflict, and to foster collaborations that will enhance the reach and impact of the consortium’s work. On Friday, March 7 at 10:30 a.m. in 1117 UCC, the Consortium, International Studies, and the OVPR's Research Development Office welcome to campus Professor Bedross Der Matossian, Professor of History and Judaic Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prof. Der Matossian will speak about his work on the Armenian Genocide, delivering a talk entitled "Interdisciplinary Approaches to Mass Violence in the Late Ottoman Empire”.
