The final exam faculty review period is now open and the deadline for requesting any changes is Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.
Instructors should access your unofficial individual final exam schedule through your homepage in MAUI and submit any change requests using the Final Exam Assignment Change Request Form. Changes you should submit include indicating courses that have been assigned an exam time but do not need one, and requesting exam times for any courses that have not been assigned one but need one.
Please note:
- The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences does not require faculty to give final exams.
- Even though the exam period is scheduled for two hours, faculty can choose to give a shorter exam.
- You can help ensure that all students who need testing accommodations can get their exams scheduled by reviewing your final exam schedule and requesting any necessary changes. Accuracy in this process also helps the Office of the Registrar plan for appropriate and efficient use of campus testing centers.
- Finally, it is very important that students have accurate information in your courses about the final exam date and time, so please make sure to share the final confirmed exam time with your students and provide clear guidelines around the length of the final exam (which may be shorter than the scheduled time period for the final exam).
Primary instructors and departmental administrators can request these changes. For more information, including instructions and policies, please see the Office of the Registrar’s Exam Information website.
