In the 2025-26 academic year, we are updating our promotion and tenure and faculty review workshop process. Below is an overview of the changes you can expect.

• Promotion and Tenure Process Workshop: This workshop has been turned into a series of video modules housed within an ICON course.
• Faculty Review Workshop: This workshop will continue to be held in-person and DEOs and Departmental Administrators are required to attend.
• Newly Tenured Workshop & Newly Promoted to Associate Professor of Instruction Workshop: These workshops are being phased out. Newly tenured or promoted faculty will instead be invited to meet one-on-one with their area Associate Dean to talk through ideas and opportunities for continuing their career growth.
• Preparing for Promotion to Full Professor Workshop, Preparing for Promotion to Associate Professor Workshop, & Preparing for Promotion in Instructional Track Workshop: The format for these workshops is still being determined. We will send additional communication once the details have been finalized.
