The Dean’s Office has announced several updates to faculty reviews:

• Deadlines for 2026-27 faculty reviews are published on the Faculty Review Schedule. 
• Effective 2026-27, the deadline for instructional track and clinical track faculty reappointment reviews has shifted to October 30, 2026. This change allows the college to be more responsive to communicating reappointment decisions. This was announced in the October 29, 2025 Business Update. Please ensure classroom observations are scheduled to align with this deadline. 
• New this year, instructional track and clinical track faculty who are due for a reappointment review and have elected to undergo promotion review in the same academic year will have both a reappointment and a promotion review due to CLAS. The reappointment review may be completed by the promotion committee using the materials submitted by the faculty member for promotion review and the classroom observation completed for promotion review, so long as the faculty member is informed.
