Kyle joined CLAS GSO in late 2020. Before joining the GSO, he gained two years of grant experience in a similar pre-award role at South Dakota State University and an additional five years managing grants as a program officer and writing grants as a development officer for the South Dakota Humanities Council. Kyle and his wife, Rachel, have three boys.
