The office is home to collegiate academic advising and student services related to academic policies, as well as the development and oversight of the undergraduate curriculum, the CLAS Core General Education program, and all majors, minors, and certificates.

CLAS UP coordinates recruitment activities for prospective first-year and transfer students and supports the annual distribution of CLAS scholarships. Staff also collaborates closely with campus partners across the University of Iowa to support undergraduate students.
